By accessing or using ApartmentProf, you agree to these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. Apartment Professor LLC may update these terms at any time, and continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
ApartmentProf is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that listings, reviews, ratings, maps, contact details, geocoding, availability, pricing, neighborhood information, or other content is accurate, complete, current, lawful, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for any purpose.
You are responsible for anything you submit, including reviews, building information, messages, and account details. You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it is truthful, lawful, non-infringing, and not abusive, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, private, confidential, or spam. We may edit, reject, hide, remove, or reuse user content at any time for any reason or no reason.
By submitting content, you grant Apartment Professor LLC a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, copy, display, modify, distribute, create derivative works from, and otherwise use that content in connection with the service and our business.
ApartmentProf does not provide legal, financial, housing, real estate, safety, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for verifying any building, landlord, lease, neighborhood, price, amenity, or claim before relying on it.
You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts, restrict access, remove content, or refuse service at any time, with or without notice.
If you identify as a property manager or submit building information, you are responsible for ensuring your submissions are accurate, authorized, lawful, and not deceptive. We do not guarantee placement, visibility, traffic, leads, or business results.
You may not scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, overload, interfere with, abuse, spam, harvest data from, or use ApartmentProf for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, discriminatory, or harmful activity. We may block automated or suspicious activity.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apartment Professor LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apartment Professor LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for claims related to housing decisions, listings, reviews, user conduct, third-party services, outages, data loss, or unauthorized access.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Apartment Professor LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
We collect information you provide, such as account details, contact form submissions, reviews, building submissions, and communications. We also may collect technical information such as IP address, device, browser, usage, logs, cookies, and approximate location derived from technical data.
We use information to operate, secure, improve, analyze, moderate, personalize, and support ApartmentProf; to communicate with users; to send transactional email; to prevent spam, fraud, and abuse; and to comply with legal obligations. We may share information with vendors and service providers, including hosting, analytics, database, geocoding, email, security, and infrastructure providers, and when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, users, or the service.
We may retain information for as long as we determine it is useful for business, legal, safety, audit, dispute, anti-abuse, or operational purposes. Public content, including reviews and building submissions, may remain visible after account changes or deletion unless we decide otherwise.
We do not promise that any system or transmission is perfectly secure. You use the service at your own risk.
